Then, the night before my check-out date, I called down to the front desk to confirm and they claimed that they were overbooked and can only extend my check-out time to 12pm. Finally, I stopped by IN PERSON the day before my check-in to request an extension of my check-out time from 11am to 2pm, and they happily obliged. Also, the fridge in the room wouldn't get cold even though it was plugged in, and the microwave emitted a scary burning smell when used. They charge $50/day up to 2 days, which should only have come up to $100, so where did that extra $15 come from? They were pleasant enough about it, and corrected it accordingly, but I warn future guests to double check their transactions. The front desk also overcharged me for "incidentals," a total of $115. My keycard also failed to work more than half the time, which was another annoyance. The staff blamed it on the windy weather, but it was such a huge inconvenience. The WIFI worked about half the time, which was detrimental because I was in Baltimore to take intensive courses at JHU and couldn't do my homework in the room. The three days I stayed here went by so fast, and I can’t wait to come back for another stay (I predict Bloom’s will be a big NYE spot).Cons: To preface this review, I stayed at the Wyndham for a total of 6 nights. When the sensor for my original room pulled a Hodor and wouldn’t let me in (tech issues happen, especially when things are new), the staff went above and beyond to resolve the situation and moving me to a new room, all while checking on me and seeing if I needed anything in the meantime. I also want to point out that every staff member I interacted with was very kind and friendly and made me feel very welcome.

The prices of everything is very fair and you definitely get your money’s worth here. The cafe/bar Ash-Bar (I had other plans during my stay that didn’t let get to the Bloom’s cocktail lounge) was styled in a way that reminded me of European train cars and sumptuous food and drink. The bathrooms were beautiful and looked like something out of a Vogue spread, and also had a nice sized shower, unlike the chain hotels I normally frequent. The bedrooms are gorgeous and comfortable, with bedding that made you feel like you were sleeping in a marshmallow. "I LOVED this hotel-you step inside and it feels like you’ve stepped into a novel from long ago.
